We are a retail nursery located on five acres near Elk Lake just outside Victoria BC. Featuring one of the largest selections of rhododendrons for sale in Canada, we will help you find the perfect rhodos for your garden. Shop Now! Due to certain circumstances Firwood Nursery will be closing in the near future. For the month of January we are by appointment only. Please check the website at the beginning of each month to see if the hours have changed. We do anticipate having some regular hours in the Spring as there is still a lot of stock to choose from. All potted rhodos are now 20% off. Most 1 gallon plants are reg $15 plus tax, on sale for $12 plus tax. Most 2 gallon plants are reg $25 plus tax, on sale for $20 plus tax, etc. Please note we are closed Sundays and all Stat Holidays, and if it is pouring rain, snowing or below freezing as we are strictly an outdoor nursery. The rainy season (all 8 months of it) is the best time to plant rhododendrons! But plants in pots are happy to go into the ground as soon as possible. Unlike most general nurseries we carry a huge selection of potted and larger in-ground rhodos all year. Rhodos love the rain and some cool weather to settle into their new home before blooming their heads off. Visit us soon to choose your new rhodos. Sorry, shipping is NOT available.
